Conversational Hypnosis
Hiya! Nadia here.
Chances are you’ve never heard about Conversational Hypnosis before. I hadn’t either until recently. It’s a niche little technique which combines hypnosis with something akin to socratic questioning.
So how does it work?
It essentially just feels like we’re having a deep conversation. My best analogy is that it’s kind of like doing a puzzle with a friend.
You come along with your puzzle, I help you find the right pieces and then you find where they slot in place.
AKA you come along with a problem you want to solve, I ask the right questions and with your new insights, you solve the problem.
And the best thing - there’s little to no homework. We do all the hard work together in session.
What problems does it help solve?
Conversational Hypnosis can be effective for ANY type of internal conflict. AKA any time you feel stuck, you have beliefs that no longer serve you, you’re doing things you no longer want to be doing or you’re not doing things you want to be doing.
My favourite areas to use Conversational Hypnosis for are:
Eating disorders, disordered eating, body image challenges, binge and emotional eating
Health conditions or chronic symptoms for which you know (or suspect) that there’s an emotional link
The Details
Prior to booking in, we will do a free 15-minute ‘Good Fit Chat’ over Zoom.
The reason for this is two-fold; 1) to make sure we’re a good fit to work together, and 2) so that we can get you booked in for your 3-6 sessions at weekly intervals rather than having to wait a month or so between sessions.
Fees
Each Conversational Hypnosis session is $275
I charge more than my usual sessions because I put aside 90-minutes for each session. Although we might not need the full 90 minutes, there’s nothing worse that being on the verge of something special and having to wrap up at the 59-minute mark!
Convinced that Conversational Hypnosis is for you and don’t want to wait to have a ‘Good Fit Chat’?
Book your first session in below and I’ll contact you to book in your follow ups.
Who is Hypnosis NOT suitable for?
Just like different medications work better for some people than others, hypnotherapy can be more effective for some than others. For certain individuals, hypnotherapy is NOT recommended. I am unable to do hypnotherapy with you if you experience any of the following:
Severe mental health condition(s) (especially involving suicidality or psychosis such as schizophrenia), borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, dissociative identity disorder, are on anti-psychotics, taking illicit drugs or experience uncontrolled epilepsy or seizures.
Please let me know if you are undergoing any legal proceedings or your home environment is unsafe.
I am not a Psychologist, mental health practitioner or medical doctor and thus recommend that you consult with your medical and mental health professionals.
